Welcome to the Children’s Programs at First United Methodist Church Gonzales! Here, we believe in nurturing every child’s spiritual growth and building a strong sense of community for families. Our programs are designed to offer a safe, supportive environment where children and families can explore faith together.

Sunday Morning Schedule:

9:00am— Small Group Learning

Children of all ages gather in mixed family groups, allowing siblings to stay together. With a dedicated 1:8 adult-to-child ratio, our trained volunteers provide personalized guidance, helping kids form friendships and build a foundation in faith.

10:00am— Worship and First Kids

Children are invited to begin worship in the sanctuary alongside their families, joining the congregation for the opening moments of worship and the Children’s Sermon. Afterward, they head to the Youth Center for First Kids, an engaging time of Bible study, creative arts, and games tailored to their unique interests.

Throughout the year, we host various family-centered activities based on the needs and interests of our congregation and the community.
