Family Ministry at First United Methodist Church Gonzales is all about nurturing faith, fostering community, and supporting individuals and families in every season of life. Whether you’re a young child, a parent, a young adult, or simply someone who cares deeply about building a Christ-centered community, Family Ministry has something for you.

Our Family Ministry encompasses a variety of sub-categories, each designed to serve different age groups and life stages:

• First Kids: Activities and events for children.

• Rise Youth: Programs for middle and high school students.

• Young Adults & Young Professionals: Opportunities to connect with peers, grow spiritually, and serve together.

• Young Families & Roots and Wings: Resources and events for strengthening family bonds and parenting with faith.

When you see the Family Ministry logo—or a logo for one of these sub-categories—you’ll know who the event or program is primarily designed for. However, in keeping with our mission of inclusivity, all of our events are open to everyone. We aim to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages and stages can grow together in faith and community.

What Is Family Ministry?
